2023 f. Siyouni - Edisa (Kitten's Joy)
Entraîné par Francis-Henri Graffard
Edaja, a daughter of Siyouni, hails from the esteemed ‘E’ family that has produced such stars as Ebadiyla, Estimate and Ezeliya. Dam Edisa was herself a Stakes winner and half-sister to globetrotter Ebaiyra.
Unraced at two, she hit the track running at three, notching up three consecutive victories in the spring of 2026 - cumulating with the Listed Prix des Lilas.
“She was brilliant,” said trainer Francis-Henri Graffard after her Stakes success. “She does things a bit hastily, we had to keep her covered up. She needs to be well covered up and is capable of really accelerating afterwards.
“We've always liked this filly, but we didn't expect her to climb the ranks so much. That's already three wins. She's also improving in the mornings, which is pleasing.”
The pedigree of Dolmalan combines two of the Aga Khan Studs’ most successful families – that of Zarak and Zarkava, tracing to Mumtaz Mahal, and the ‘D’ family comprising Dalakhani, Daylami and Dolniya, tracing to Boussac mare Astana.
