Siyouni

Mares include the dams of Vadeni, Tahiyra, Paddington and St Mark’s Basilica, plus Arc heroine Alpinista. After a sensational 2023 season which saw sons and daughters of SIYOUNI land nine Group 1 races between them, the Haras de Bonneval stallion is set for another high-class book of mares in 2024.

The Aga Khan Studs will be sending 20 mares, among them VADERANA (dam of VADENI), TARANA (dam of TARNAWA and TAHIYRA), AZMIYNA (dam of five-time Group 1 winner The Autumn Sun), ZARKAMIYA (a Group 1-placed daughter of ZARKAVA) and Group-winning ZARAK mare BAIYKARA.

...

Azmiyna, Vaderana, Tarana, La Fiamma

Also among SIYOUNI’s book will be the three mares purchased from the Niarchos draft at the 2023 Goffs November Sale – La Fiamma, Malicieuse and Raja Ampat.

Outside mares set to visit SIYOUNI meanwhile include Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe heroine Alpinista, Poule d’Essai des Pouliches winner Mangoustine and three-time Group 1 winner Esoterique, as well as the dams of SIYOUNI’s multiple Group 1 winning sons Paddington and St Mark’s Basilica, Snowpark (a half-sister to Sottsass) and Terrakova (a Classic-placed daughter of champion Goldikova).

Though early days, 2024 is shaping up well for SIYOUNI, who currently leads the European sires table by earnings and by winners.
