Zalo won his second race for first season sire Daylami when taking the Tattersalls Norsk Criterium at Ovrevoll yesterday afternoon. The highly rated two year old colt took the 280,000 Kroner (€38,000) event in great style and is now likely to be aimed at the Group III Preis der Winterfavoriten at Cologne in October.

Zalo was bought by Peter Doyle on behalf of a Norwegian client for €170,000 at Goffs last year. He has now won two races for his owners Stall Zuccini, the first of which was in August over course and distance.
