Sunday marked a successful day at the races for Zarak, who was responsible for two Stakes winners.
Bevan won the Listed Le Vase d’Argent at Toulouse to become the 29th individual Stakes winner for his sire. Bred by Jonathan Aisbitt, he is a graduate of the Arqana Summer Sale and has now won seven races for his partnership of owners.
At Hoppegarten, Flatten The Curve won the Listed Altano-Rennen for owner Eckhard Sauren, his second Stakes success after landing the Gr.3 Silbernes Pferd towards the end of last year. He was bred by Ecurie de Castillon, Khalifa Mohammed Al Attiyah, Sheikh Faisal bin Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani and SAS I.E.I.
Also in Germany, Rashford finished third in the Gr.2 Sauren Dachfonds Preis at Cologne on Monday. Owned and bred by Mr Friedrich Hodel, Rashford has previously won two Stakes races in France, including the Listed Prix Vulcain at Deauville.
Zarak has been noted for his exceptional statistics since his first runners hit the track in 2021. He is currently operating at 11.4% Stakes winners to runners and 7.5% Group winners to runners.
Erdenali and Narissa completed a Listed double at Deauville.
