Time Ahead, who made 650,000 Guineas at Tattersalls yesterday, was the first mare from an excellent first book of mares covered by Dalakhani in 2004 to be offered for sale at public auction. In foal for the first time to last year’s outstanding three year old Dalakhani, Time Ahead was herself runner up in the 2003 renewal of the Prix de Diane. She is also half sister to Group III winner Time Away and a grand daughter of the champion mare Time Charter, a four time Group I winner including the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes.

Consigned by Jamie Railton, she was bought by the BBA’s Adrian Nicoll for an English client.

Time Ahead is just one of the many high class mares covered by Dalakhani in 2004. These also include Aga Khan owned Group I winners Daryaba, Timarida and Shemaka.
