Discover the 2017 stud fees. The exciting new additions to the Aga Khan roster HARZAND and DARIYAN will stand at €15,000 and €8,000 respectively. The winner of four races in four months at three, Harzand has achieved the outstanding feat of winning both the Gr.1 Epsom Derby and the Gr.1 Irish Derby after having won the Gr.3 Ballysax Stakes over 10 furlongs. A son of Sea The Stars and the Group 3 winner over 7 furlongs Hazariya, Harzand is a brother to three Stakes performers including Group 1 placed juvenile Harasiya. He presents a 5/6 inbreeding to Northern Dancer and a 4/5 inbreeding to Mr Prospector, making him an attractive cross for a wide selection of broodmares.

DARIYAN also won at the highest level this year in the Gr.1 Prix Ganay. He has been a model of consistency throughout his career, winning or placing on 11 of his 13 outings. Like Harzand, Dariyan’s remarkable pedigree makes him an appealing addition to the stallion ranks. A son of proven sire of sires Shamardal, he is the first foal of Group 1 winner Daryakana and hails from the same family as Champion Darjina and Almanzor.

Sea The Stars is also the current leading sire in order of winners to runners with the excellent ratio of 56%.

His younger brother BORN TO SEA made a successful start with his first two-year-olds, which include the talented Gr.3 winner Sea Of Grace and two further Stakes performers. The son of Invincible Spirit will stand at the unchanged fee of €10,000.

Gr. 1 winning son of Shamardal Dariyan will stand at €8,000.

At Haras de Bonneval in France, SIYOUNI enjoyed another stellar year which saw Ervedya, Volta and Spectre all consistently perform at Group 1 level.
