Newcomer Thajja was the impressive five length winner of a maiden race at Newmarket yesterday afternoon, providing first season sire Daylami with another winner. Soon tracking the leaders in this seven furlong event, Thajja quickened up to lead over a furlong out, leaving his rivals toiling behind. According to the Racing Post: “Thajja won as nicely as could be expected on his debut… He did his job in professional fashion displaying a good attitude.”

This promising debut win by another Daylami two year old follows the commendable performances of dual winner and Group II Cherry Hinton Stakes 3rd, Birthday Suit.
