Sinndar’s 4yo daughter, Pictavia, won the Group 3 Select Stakes at Goodwood by a neck after a strong fight on Sunday. The ultra-consistent filly owned by Godolphin has previously placed in group 1 company at both 2 and 3 years and has also won two listed races this summer.
On the same afternoon, Sinndar’s 3yo son, Youmzain ran a close 2nd in the group 2 Prix Niel at Longchamp. The Niel has been the most prolific source of Arc winners in recent times and trainer Mick Channon was delighted with Youmzain’s half a length 2nd to the Group 1 winner Rail Link. Youmzain had previously taken the Group 2 Great Voltigeur stakes at York on his last outing.
