The three-year-old filly, bred and owned by Allan Belshaw, was already twice Group 1 placed – in the Prix Marcel Boussac at two and the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches earlier this year.

Amelia's Jewel

Over in Australia, exciting sprinter Amelia’s Jewel made a winning seasonal debut in the Listed Belgravia Stakes. A Group 2 winner as a two-year-old, the speedy filly is now unbeaten in four starts.

Not to be outdone, Sea The Stars had his 102nd lifetime Stakes performer in the Listed Sale Cup. Uncle Bryn is also the 23rd Stakes winner of 2022 for his sire.

With the Breeding Stock Sales approaching, it was also encouraging to see another Aga Khan Studs family come to the fore when Arrest was second by a head in the Gr.1 Critérium de Saint-Cloud. The colt, bred by Swordlestown Little and owned by Juddmonte, is out of the Aga Khan Studs bred NISRIYNA, who was sold at Goffs in 2010.
