Arc de Triomphe star Sinndar is to stand in France at the Aga Khan’s Haras de Bonneval from next season. One of the leading 2nd crop sires in Europe, Sinndar was an unbeaten Group 1 winner as a 2 year old. He went on to become the European Champion 3 Year Old, winning both the Epsom and the Irish Derby and the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. From his first crop of 3 year olds Sinndar has already sired the runaway Irish Oaks and Prix Vermeille winner Shawanda, Group 3 winners Moonlight Dance and Louvain as well as Epsom Oaks 3rd Pictavia, and has produced a high strike rate of 44% winners to runners worldwide.

...

Speaking from Normandy, Haras de Bonneval Manager Georges Rimaud said “It was always in the back of our minds to bring him to France at some point. French breeders have been in much need of a successful young sire, and Sinndar fits the bill.”
