Bye Bye Loev was an easy 4 length winner of the Norsk Derby, at Ovrevoll on Sunday. Bred by Italy's Scuderia San Pancrazio and owned by Petter Solberg and Nils Petter Gill, the Sinndar colt is trained in Chantilly by Mikel Delzangles and had a short spell with Arnfinn Lund before his Derby win. A €70 000 yearling purchase from the Deauville August sale, Bye Bye Loev has won 2 of his 4 starts to date and will return to France to contest Group races this autumn. Updated 23/08/2005.
