Moonlight Dance, winner of this year's Group 3 International Stakes, made 800 000 guineas at Tattersalls mare sales yesterday. The daughter of Sinndar out of Daylami's dam Style of Life, and in foal to High Chaparral, was the subject of a swift opening bid of 500 000 guineas from Australian Paul Makin, and after a couple of equally swift responses from Japan's leading breeder Katsumi Yoshida, the hammer fell at 800 000 guineas.
