Sinndar’s excellent results continued on day two of the Goffs Orby Sale when a daughter of his consigned by Redpender Stud made €470,000 yesterday. The attractive bay filly, a half sister to American Derby runner up Californian (out of the Stakes winning mare Asterita), was eventually knocked down to Howard Johnson on behalf of Graham Wylie.

The €470,000 price tag was the second highest of the day, and the highest by a first crop sire. This excellent sale closely followed further good results for Sinndar including the sale of lot 160, a half sister to the promising Daylami colt Grey Swallow, made €290,000 the previous day.
