Louvain gave first season sire Sinndar a well deserved Group victory when running out the easy winner of the Grade III Miesque Stakes at Hollywood Park on Friday. Second favourite for this well contested event, Louvain was settled in last position until the final bend where she started making good headway through horses. Surging on the outside at the entrance to the straight, she quickly took the lead and went on to win by a comfortable two lengths.
Already Stakes placed on two occasions in France, when under the care of Richard Gibson for her owner breeder Peter Kavanagh, Louvain had topped the Goffs France Arc sale in October, when bought by Michel Zerolo on behalf of Edmund Gann for €260,000.
