The Valanour filly had attracted plenty of attention and was the object of some fierce bidding, eventually being knocked down to the Wertheimer brothers. Out of a Darshaan mare, Senkaya comes from a very strong female line, also being a half sister to Group I placed Sendoro.

Sendawar’s first yearlings were particularly well received at public auction this year, achieving prices up to €200,000. His is the leading 1st crop sire of yearlings in France by average yearling price.
