Raduga provided first season sire Sinndar with another impressive winner at Compiegne yesterday when taking the Prix de la Croix de St Ouen by three lengths. The two year old filly stretched out in great style to take an unassailable lead in the fillies’ maiden and looks certain to make her mark at a higher level next year. She is a half sister to several good horses including Stakes winners Cosmographe and Magnus.

Sinndar’s other first crop winners include the highly rated Pictavia, who was an excellent second in the Group I Moyglare Stud Stakes in September and is considered by her connections to be a Classic prospect for next year. He is also the sire of the ex-French filly Louvain, who is already twice placed at Listed level. She recently topped the Goffs France Arc sale, when sold to Oceanic Bloodstock for €260,000, and will now be aimed at the Group III Miesque Stakes at Hollywood Park in November.
