Next week’s Goffs Million sale features 22 yearlings from the first crop of Azamour, a four-time Group 1 winner over a mile to a mile and a half. Some of the most interesting pedigrees include Lot 80, a half-brother to Irish 2000 Guineas fourth Maumee and a Listed winner, Lot 89, a half-brother to Tamweel, second at Gr 1 level in the USA, Lot 135, out of a full-sister to a triple American Gr 1 winner, he is a half-brother to six winners including a dual Gr 3 scorer, Lot 149, half-brother to three Group winners, Lot 176, a filly out of a Listed-winning half-sister to the dams of Gr 1 winner Kinnaird and Hong Kong Derby winner Salford Mill. Lot 455 comes from the AK Studs family of Caradak who lifted the Gr 1 Prix de la Foret, Lot 541 is a half-brother to a Gr 2 winner and the dam of Baqah, also a winner at this level, while his second dam Brave Raj was Champion American juvenile filly. Lot 581 is the first foal of a half-sister to Derby hero Erhaab and Champion Italian filly Oumaldaaya.
