Unbeaten Zarak filly heads next to the Preis der Diana. Zarak posted yet another new Stakes winner on Sunday when Princess Zelda showed a great turn of foot to take the Gr.3 Hamburger Stutenpreis at Hamburg, on just her second racecourse start.

The unbeaten filly, who won her debut at Hannover in late May, is now headed to the Gr.1 Preis der Diana on 6th August.

“I didn’t think that she could beat Kassada [the favourite], as she was only having her second outing and you could see her inexperience today, but Lukas Delozier rode a great race,” said Wilhelm Feldmann, racing manager for owner-breeders Gestüt Hachtsee.

Princess Zelda’s dam Petite Duchesse is a half-sister to the Gr.3 Prix Gontaut-Biron winner Petit Chevalier, from the family of Group 1 winners Lord Glitters and Morandi.
