Son of Siyouni an easy winner of the Listed Tetrarch Stakes. Paddington became the latest new Stakes winner by Siyouni on Monday, with a comfortable one-and-a-half-length victory in the Listed Tetrarch Stakes at The Curragh.

The Aidan O’Brien-trained colt, who is owned in partnership by the Coolmore team, Westerberg and Peter Brant, is now the winner of his last three starts, and holds entries in the Poule d’Essai des Poulains, Irish 2000 Guineas, Derby and Irish Derby.

Out of the Montjeu mare Modern Eagle and bred by Dayton Investments Ltd, Paddington was purchased for €420,000 at the Arqana October Yearling Sale of 2021 from the consignment of Ecurie des Monceaux. He is the 12th winner (and second Stakes winner) from 15 runners out of Montjeu mares.
