Linamix progeny gained further blacktype over the weekend, with Jagger winning the Listed Blue Square Handicap at Chester and Reefscape finishing runner-up to Alcazar in the Group 2 Prix Kergorlay at Deauville.

At the Agence Francaise August Yearling Sale on Sunday evening Paul Webber had to go to €260 000 to secure the Linamix filly out of Gontcharova (Lot 79) consigned by Haras du Mezeray, and Amanda Skiffington paid €135 000 for a colt by Linamix out of Lit (Lot 113) at Monday's afternoon session.
