By Sinndar out of the Common Grounds mare Flanders, Louvain has been a consistent Stakes performer and held on gamely to win this one mile contest by three quarters of a length.

Sinndar is currently the 3rd Leading European based 2nd crop sire by worldwide progeny earnings and his yearlings have made up to 220 000 guineas at the sales this autumn. All of which augurs well for French breeders, as he switches to the Aga Khan's Haras de Bonneval in Normandy for the 2006 stud season. Updated 17/10/2005
