The AK-bred winner of two Gr 1 contests will stand alongside dual Derby and Arc hero Sinndar. The Aga Khan Studs welcome back their former protégé Linngari who retires to stud at the Haras de Bonneval in Normandy. Linngari was raised by the Aga Khan’s breeding operation in Ireland and he carried the famous green and red colours to victory in three races, including two as a juvenile, before being sold to Rupert Plersch and Alex Walichnowski mid-way through his three-year-old season. During his five-season racing career, Linngari has proved to be a model of regularity. He has won 11 of his 29 races, showing both speed and stamina to lift Gr 1 events over a mile and ten furlongs, as well as three Gr 2 titles including one six furlong sprint. The versatile and consistent entire has raced at the highest level in seven different countries, only finishing outside the first five on six occasions. Linngari bowed out of competition with a creditable third place in the Hong Kong Cup in December. He retires sound to stud.
