San Siro on Sunday evening was the setting for a tight finish between Vigata, La Persiana and Wood Quay in the Group 3 Premio Paolo Mezzanotte, with just half a length separating the Valfredo Valiani trained winner from Daylami's daughter. Bred by Plantation Stud out of the Habitat mare La Papagena, La Persiana is a half sister to Grand Lodge and is showing plenty of promise, having been placed at Group level in all 3 of her starts this year.
