His son Top of the Sky lifetd the Gr.1 Prix Maurice Gillois 4yo Champion Chase at Auteuil on Sunday. The versatility of Kahyasi as a sire was proven yet again at Auteuil on Sunday as his son Top of the Sky lifted the Gr.1 Prix Maurice Gillois four-year-old champion chase. Top of the Sky was contesting only his third race over steeplechase fences and has also two wins over hurdles to his credit.

The Haras de Bonneval-based Kahyasi has enjoyed a successful couple of months thanks to the Gr.1 second of his daughter Varevees in the Prix Cadran and a Gr.1 double as the broodmare sire of Zarkava (Prix Marcel Boussac) and Linngari (Premio Vittorio di Capua).
