Prix de Diane second Amour A Papa gives birth to a filly. The young sire was represented by his first foal born on Friday night, a filly out of Amour A Papa (Montmartre), who was a model of consistency through her racing career and placed second in the 2014 Prix de Diane. The dark bay foal was described by her breeders, Carole and Jean-Yves Artu, as “tall with good bone and a strong back and hindquarters.” Amour A Papa had visited another Aga Khan stallion for her first cover, Siyouni, and the resulting two-year-old filly named Amour Amour is in training with Jean-Yves Artu, who had also trained her dam.

A Group 1 winner on the racetrack, Zarak boasts one of the most appealing pedigrees, being a son of leading sire Dubawi out of the unbeaten Champion Zarkava. He covered a first full book of mares in 2018 and is proving equally popular this season. Zarak stands alongside leading French sire Siyouni and the Group 1 winning son of Shamardal, Dariyan, who has his first yearlings this year.
