The Aga Khan’s stallions will be well represented at Europe’s leading sales over the next few weeks. 22 yearlings in Arqana’s Deauville catalogue are progeny of Aga Khan Stud sires. These include five by Dalakhani, who has made a very promising start to his new career with three winners to date from nine individuals to have raced. Last August five of Dalakhani’s first crop were sold at the premier Deauville sale for an impressive average of 195,000€.

The champion two and three year old racehorse will be represented by the following colts:

...

Lot 13, a half brother to 6 winners including Irish Wings, a Gr 3 winner in America, out of Gr 3 second Irish Order who is a half-sister to three Gr 1 performers.

Lot 52, a son of Gr 2 and Gr 3 winning mare Royal Ballerina, and the half-brother to three winners.

...

Lot 56, from the family of Gr 1 winners Cerulean Sky and L’Ancresse.

Lot 292, from the family of dual Gr 1 winner Vespone.

...

Lot 26 is the only daughter of Dalakhani to feature in the Arqana catalogue. She is out of Listed placed Maria de la Luz and half-sister to two winners.

Linamix is the perennial leading French-based sire and 16 of his sons and daughters will go through the ring at Deauville. Some of the best of these are a full brother to dual Gr 3 winner Garnica (Lot 7), a half-sister to Breeders’ Cup Turf hero Red Rocks (Lot 41), a half brother to multiple Group scorer Inesperado (Lot 137), a daughter of the half-sister to Gr 1 winner and sire Pistolet Bleu (Lot 159) and a son of the half-sister to sire Kaldounevees (Lot 433).

...

Dual Derby and Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner Sinndar is responsible for a single yearling at Deauville in August. Lot 46 is a half-brother to Lahudood, twice second at Gr 2 level.

A further five beautifully-bred Dalakhani yearlings go on sale at Italy’s SGA selected yearling sale at Milan and the inaugural ITS sale at Rome in September. These include half-brothers to Gr 1 winners Sweet Stream and Vol de Nuit.

...

Sinndar and Dalakhani will also be represented by one yearling each at Tattersalls Ireland September sale.
