Marbush ran out the easy winner of Thursday night's Group 3 Derrinstown Stud Burj Nahaar at Nad Al Sheba. The 5 year old son of Linamix cruised to a 7 length victory in the 1600m contest. Out of the winning Miswaki mare Fig Tree Drive, Marbush is a half brother to Doncaster Mile winner Sublimity (Selkirk) and was bred by Stratford Place and Watership Down Studs. A 160 000 guineas purchase out of Tattersalls October Yearling Sale back in 2002 for Shadwell, Marbush has rarely been out of the frame.
