Spaniards Inn added to Kahyasi’s tally of Stakes winning progeny when taking the Group II Bombay Dyeing C N Wadia Gold Cup in India last Sunday. The four year old son of multiple Group I sire Kahyasi was the comfortable two and a half length winner of the mile and a half race, run at Mumbai racecourse in Bombay.

Out of Iquique, Spaniards Inn had previously won two ten furlong conditions’ races by six and a half lengths and eight lengths, before disappointing in the Derby where he was one of the leading contenders. He bounced right back to form when taking this Group II contest from some of the best local horses, thus providing Kahyasi with his 25th individual Stakes winner.
