Red Gala’s Listed victory is the latest in a string of successes for his sire. Red Gala became the latest Stakes winner for his dual-Derby and Arc-winning sire Sinndar when showing great staying power to take the Listed Chester Handicap over 1 mile 5 ½ furlongs on Saturday. The entire is a tough and versatile performer, as he has already won three races from a mile to ten furlongs for his owner/breeders Cheveley Park Stud.

Sinndar is enjoying a successful season on all fronts as his son Youmzain continues to fly the flag in top class contests, winning the Gr 1 Grand Prix de Saint Cloud in June. The five-year-old is being aimed once again at the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe in which he took an excellent second place in 2007.

Sinndar’s three-year-olds are proving to be most consistent and the sire currently boasts an exceptional ratio of 48% winners to runners for the current Classic generation.

The Haras de Bonneval-based sire has already produced good results in the sales ring this year. During ARQANA’s recent yearling sale, two of his youngsters sold for 160,000 Euros each, equal to eight times his stud fee for 2008.
