The Aga Khan Studs have released their fees for the 2014 breeding season. At Gilltown Stud in Ireland:

- AZAMOUR will stand at €8,000

- DALAKHANI will stand at €25,000

- SEA THE STARS will stand at €85,000

At Haras de Bonneval in France:

- REDOUTE’S CHOICE will stand at €70,000

- SINNDAR will stand at €4,500

- SIYOUNI will stand at €7,000

Dalakhani was represented by 20 Stakes performers in 2013, including two additional Group 1 victories, Reliable Man and Seismos, and the talented fillies Integral (2nd in the Gr.1 Sun Chariot Stakes) and Elik (placed in the Gr.2 Ribblesdale Stakes). Dalakhani’s best-selling yearling in 2013 was a 450,000Gns filly, sold at Tattersalls’ October I book.

Dalakhani was met with great popularity in Australia, where he is currently serving his first Southern Hemisphere book of mares.

Having scored a Classic winner in 2012, Azamour enjoyed further successes this season with the likes of Gr.3 winner Liber Nauticus (Musidora Stakes), Gr.1 placed Gifted Girl, as well as promising two year-olds Chief Barker, Chicago Girl, Double Bluff, Love Tangle, Monsieur Power, Tucci, etc.

With a total of 112 two year olds and 101 three year olds racing for him next season, Azamour has plenty more to look forward to.

Azamour is a leading sire in Europe, with a Lifetime ratio of 15% Stakes performers to runners.

Sea The Stars’ first two year olds on the track fulfilled their promise, scoring on eleven occasions and giving bloodstock professionals plenty to look forward to for their three year old campaigns next year. His daughter My Titania offered her sire his first Group victory in September. Meanwhile, Sea The Stars’s yearlings continue to make strong impressions at the sales this year, selling for an average of €247,000 which makes him the leading first season sire at the sales, for the past two years.

Redoute’s Choice will return to France in 2014 for a second season at stud, having covered a prestigious book of mares this year. The Australian Champion hit the 100th Stakes winner milestone in 2013, as well as producing two new Classic winners. He also dominated the Australian sales scene by remaining the leading sire by yearling average for the ninth consecutive year.

Siyouni will continue to cover at €7,000 proving popular during his first three seasons at stud in France. His first yearlings sold up to €85,000 in 2013. Himself a precocious horse, his 80 products who turn two in a few months, will be eagerly anticipated on the racetracks next season.

The third Bonneval resident Sinndar was granted with two new Classic winners, Flotilla and Trading Leather, of whom he is the damsire. His price in 2014 is affordable for a proven stallion of his stature.
