Champion racehorse Sea The Stars will be represented by three yearlings at Arqana August Sale.

Last August’s leading Arqana sire Sea The Stars represented by three yearlings. Aga Khan Studs sires feature strongly in Arqana’s August yearling catalogue, with progeny of all their Irish and French residents entered in the Premium sale.

Sea The Stars created fireworks in Deauville in 2012 with his first crop of yearlings and the champion racehorse has three entries in this season’s sale, all from high class black-type families. From the Haras d’Etreham, lot 55 is out of Listed victrix Sefroua and is a granddaughter of Gr 1 Coronation Stakes winner Sophisticat. The Haras du Quesnay is responsible for lot 76, a filly out of the half-sister to Gr 1 scorer Consolidator, and lot 168, out of a Stakes placed mare and closely related to US sire AP Indy.

Exciting young stallion Siyouni will be represented by six yearlings in Arqana August Sale, and three in the V2 Sale.

Gr 1 winning sire Azamour is represented by four youngsters; among these are lot 274, a son of dual Gr 3 victrix Top Toss (Linamix), already dam of recent Gr 1 Poule d’Essai des Poulains runner-up Dastarhon. Lot 304 hails from the same cross as Group scorer and 2000 Guineas third Native Khan who is a half-brother by Azamour to this filly’s dam Caipirinia.

Fellow Gilltown stallion Dalakhani also boasts four entries at Deauville. Of these, lot 126 is the first offspring of Listed winner Courchevel, a daughter of Gr 1 EP Taylor Stakes victrix Choc Ice who herself produced Gr 3 scorer Chock A Block when crossed with Dalakhani. Lot 157 is a grandson of Gr 1 winner and placed Sulk, from an Aga Khan maternal line descending from Gr 1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches winner Masarika.

Amongst the four Azamour yearlings presented is a half brother to Poule d'Essai 2nd Dashtaron.

Bonneval resident Sinndar has one August entry, lot 368, out of a Linamix mare, while first season sire Siyouni has half a dozen of his first yearlings for sale. Lot 235 is a colt out of a half-sister to Cheveley Park Stakes and 1000 Guineas heroine Natagora, lot 294 is a half-brother to Gr 3 Prix Miesque victrix Stefer, while lot 329 shares the same granddam as Gr 1 winners and sires Rail Link and Linda’s Lad.

A precocious individual having won the Gr 1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardère as a juvenile, Siyouni is also represented by three youngsters in the new V2 sale on 20th August. These include lot 440 Calculator, out of a dual winning half-sister to two-time Listed scorer Gris Tendre, from the family of Gr 1 winner Meandre, and lot 452, a grandson of triple Group victrix Lexa.
