Two new winners in a day take Gilltown sire to 100. Gilltown Stud resident Sea The Stars achieved his 99th and 100th Stakes winners in quick succession on Friday.

In Australia, Desert Icon, originally bred in France by Ecurie des Monceaux but now in training with Chris Waller Racing, won the Gr.3 JRA Stakes at Moonee Valley.

Just a couple of hours later in France, the Godolphin homebred three-year-old Life In Motion was an easy winner of the Listed Prix Coronation at Saint-Cloud. The filly was last seen finishing second to Purplepay (Zarak) in the Gr.2 Prix de Sandringham.

Sea The Stars is currently the leading Irish-based sire in Europe, thanks to another great run of success in 2022.
