Reefscape set out favourite for the Prix du Cadran at Longchamp on Sunday and duly quickened away from Alcazar and Ostankino to win in fine style by two lengths. Owned by Khalid Abdullah, the son of Linamix has the Ascot Gold Cup set as his 2006 target.

Meanwhile at the Goffs France Arc sale on Saturday evening Starpix, a 3yo son of Linamix who finished runner up in this year’s Group 1 Prix Jean Prat, was sold to Paul Nataf for €310 000, the second highest lot of the sale. Updated 03/10/2005.
