An early foal, the colt is a half brother to 2 winners and a grand-son of Prix de l'Opera winner Bella Colora, herself the dam of 7 winners including Champion racehorse Stagecraft, as well as blacktype winners Hyabella and Balalaika. The 3rd dam, Reprocolor, produced Irish Champion Stakes winner Cezanne and Irish Oaks winner Colorspin (dam of Kayf Tara, Opera House and Zee Zee Top).
