Sea The Stars

Sea The Stars has enjoyed another fruitful season and is currently the leading sire of three-year-olds in Europe in 2024, a crop that includes Group 1 winner Sosie and Group 2 winner and Arc runner-up Aventure. He has achieved his highest ever number of annual Stakes winners this year, with 28 to date including Group winning two-year-old The Lion In Winter (currently favourite for next year’s 2000 Guineas), and his yearlings have sold for an average of €363,000. His stud fee will be €250,000 in 2025.

Siyouni

Siyouni is renowned for his ability to produce horses that win multiple Group 1 races and his flagbearer this year was Mqse De Sévigné, who added three more top-level victories to her impressive record, building on her two Group 1 wins from the previous season. His two-year-olds of 2024 look particularly exciting, including Group 3 winner and Gr.1 Prix Marcel Boussac second Zarigana and Group 1 runner-up Mount Kilimanjaro. He was ranked third in Europe by yearling average at the sales, with €387,000. His stud fee for 2025 remains unchanged at €200,000.

Zarak

Zarak is currently the second leading sire in Europe with 11,8% Stakes winners to runners in 2024. He confirmed his status as a rising star with two new Group 1 winners this year, headed by Gr.1 Poule d’Essai des Poulains winner and Gr.1 St James’s Palace Stakes third Metropolitan. He also achieved his highest ever prices at the yearling sales, with his offspring registering an average of five times their conception fee. He will stand for €80,000 in 2025.

Vadeni

The Aga Khan Studs’ newest recruits, Vadeni and Erevann, will remain unchanged at €18,000 and €8,000 respectively in 2025, having both covered a full book of mares in their first season at stud. Cartier Champion Three-Year-Old Vadeni completed a rare cross-channel double of the Gr.1 Prix du Jockey Club and Gr.1 Eclipse Stakes, before finishing runner-up in the Gr.1 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. Group 2 winning and Group 1 placed miler Erevann boasts an attractive stallion’s pedigree, being a son of sire of sires Dubawi out of Siyouni’s triple Group 1 winning daughter Ervedya.
