Behkabad

Following Behkabad’s close second in the Group 2 Grand Prix de Chantilly on 5th June, the four-year-old son of Cape Cross suffered an injury to his left knee that was sustained during the race. This will keep him off the racecourse at least until the Autumn.

Behkabad was having his seasonal debut after a successful campaign in 2010 where he won the Gr.1 Grand Prix de Paris, the Gr.2 Prix Niel and the Gr.3 Prix de Guiche. This followed his unbeaten season as a two-year-old which culminated in his win in the Gr.3 Prix des Chenes.

Behkabad has so far run 11 times, winning six races and placing on all his other starts.
