Following her win in the Group 1 Prix d’Astarté over a mile last month, Mandesha brilliantly took the Group 1 Prix Vermeille over a mile and a half on Sunday. The athletic 3 year old filly by Desert Style out of Mandalara is from an old Aga Khan family that Princess Zahra has rejuvenated through her dual Group 1 winning filly.

Her jockey Christophe Soumillon, who won all three Arc trials on the programme commented: “Of all my wins today Mandesha impressed me the most. She won very easily and is a filly with great potential” Mandesha has been entered into the Prix de l’Opera but a supplementation into the Arc is now being discussed by connections.
