The Aga Khan Studs homebred, who took his sixth Group 1 victory in Sunday’s Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, becomes the first Flat racehorse to be immortalised in plush form by Turf Stars. Bred in Ireland and successful at the highest level in Britain, France, Dubai and Japan, Calandagan has earned a global following thanks to his achievements on the international stage.

In addition to honouring this exceptional racehorse, the Aga Khan Studs have requested that a contribution from every plushie sold by Turf Stars be made to Au Delà Des Pistes, a French charity dedicated to the retraining and rehoming of former racehorses. Aga Khan globetotter Vazirabad is one of the charity’s official ambassadors.

Each Turf Stars horse also comes with a ‘passport tag’ and Certificate of Authenticity detailing their pedigree, racing connections and major races won.
