Shaloushka, a daughter of Dalakhani, was sold to Blandford Bloodstock at the 2018 Arqana Breeding Stock Sale for €100,000, carrying a foal by Wootton Bassett. Her own dam Shalama was a half-sister to Gr.1 Derby winner Shahrastani.

Named Royal Patronage, the Wootton Bassett colt started his career in the UK, winning the Gr.2 Royal Lodge Stakes at two and placing second in the Gr.2 Dante Stakes at three. Transferred to the USA, he won at Allowance level, before switching hemispheres to the Australian stable of Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott. It was here he won the 2025 Gr.1 Canterbury Stakes at Randwick, and placed in both the Gr.1 Epsom Handicap and Gr.1 Doncaster Mile.
