Speedy Rayevka is by Group 1 winning sprinter Blue Point out of Stakes winner Rayisa, whose family is that of recent Classic heroine Rouhiya.
She ran three times as a two-year-old, placing once, winning once and then finishing sixth in the Gr.1 Cheveley Park Stakes.
On her return at three, she was over keen in the Gr.3 Prix Sigy, where she finished fourth, but scorched home to a three-length victory in the Listed Prix Marchand d'Or.
She had done enough to earn a trip to Royal Ascot, where she ran a huge race to finish third of 21 runners in the Gr.1 Commonwealth Cup.
The first foal out of Narmeen, Narissa is a nineth generation homebred who traces back to the Aga Khan foundation mare Teresina, purchased in 1921 by the Aga Khan III.
