Close relatives of champions such as Sinndar, Azamour, Darshaan and Zarkava are among the latest consignment of fillies and mares featured in the Goffs November Breeding Stock Sale. The Aga Khan Studs have entered an exceptionally strong draft of proven dams, winning racemares and untried juveniles in the sale which will take place on 18th and 19th November.

Daliyana (Cadeaux Genereux, in foal to Teofilo) is a half-sister to Daliapour and a close relative to Darara who has been a recent example of an Aga Khan Studs mare going on to great success in the paddocks for new connections as she is the dam of the Watership Down Stud pair Dar Re Mi and the ill-fated champion Rewilding. Blue-blooded Sinndiya is a Pharly half-sister to Sinndar, in foal to Makfi. A winner herself, her three winning progeny include Listed victrix Sindirana. The daughter of Anabaa Aliwiyya is a half-sister to dual Group 1 winner Alandi. This young mare is carrying her first foal by Iffraaj.

Among the mares which have already succeeded in the breeding shed, Listed winner and Group 1 runner-up Alasha (Barathea) has given birth to four winners including this year’s Group 3 scorer Alanza, and is carrying a foal to promising young sire Raven’s Pass. Ebatana (Rainbow Quest) is a daughter of champion filly Ebadiyla and has produced two black-type performers including Grade 3 hurdle winner Ebadiyan. She is in foal to Zamindar. Also due to foal to Zamindar, three-time winner Lidakiya (Kahyasi) is the dam of dual Group 1 scorer and sire Linngari, as well as three other winners.

A host of three-year-olds include both fillies out of training and some already covered by sires Sinndar and Siyouni. These include dual winner Dimona, an Alhaarth filly out of a half-sister to Daliapour, the unraced Behrama by Desert Style and out of a daughter of Champion filly Behera, Stakes placed Kirinda (Tiger Hill) and placed filly Sinnamara, a daughter of Intikhab and a full sister of Sinndar. One of the last daughters of Linamix, Veliyka, out of a half sister to Valanour and Vereva, will be presented in foal to Sinndar, the cross which produced Group 1 winner Rosanara.
