Sussex Stakes success from prestigious Aga Khan family

Proclamation's emphatic win in the Sussex Stakes proved the merits of the Aga Khan's breeding programme;

The King's Best colt is out of an unraced Aga Khan bred mare Shamarra (Zayyani), who hails from the family of Champion miler Sendawar.

Congratulations to Proclamation's trainer Jeremy Noseda, owner Princess Haya of Jordan, and to his breeder, Cahal Ryan on their Group 1 win at Goodwood.

Sendawar's first crop of three-year-olds have notched up 23 wins to date in 2005, his top rated performer being Sendalam (RPR 102).
