The Aga Khan Studs are offering a second batch of well-bred individuals for private sale.
The highlight of the consignment is winning miler Zarkamar, a half-brother to the dam of Zarkava. The colt’s half-siblings also include Group 3 winner Zarkiya, Pattern performer Zariyan and black-type hurdler Zarkali. Three-year-old Zarkamar is a son of Falbrav and winning mare Zarkana, from the family of Zainta, dam of Triumph Hurdle scorer Zaynar.
From a similar maternal family is unraced 3yo Zariyka (Kalanisi), half-sister to Grade 1-placed hurdler and winner on the flat Zarinava.
Soumayar is a promising son of Linamix who has been placed on his only outing to date this spring at Saint Cloud. He is the second product of his dam, a daughter of American Grade 1 winner Super Staff, who already counts a winning Linamix colt among her offspring.
The un-raced Shemannkar, by Falbrav, is a grandson of Prix de Diane winner Shemaka, whose offspring include Dalakhani’s dual Group 3 winner Shemima.
Finally, two stallion prospects are on offer: Ripple a dual winning, Stakes placed half-brother to multiple Group 1 winner and successful sire, Slickly and the lightly raced four-year-old Cherry Linx (Linamix) a winning full brother to multiple Group 1 winner and Arc runner-up Cherry Mix.
Full details including catalogue pages, size and training status of each of the 14 individuals on offer are available on www.agakhanstuds.com/Sales.
2025 has been another successful year for the connections of mares bred and sold by the Aga Khan Studs. No fewer than four Group 1 winners have flown the flag worldwide – including two high-profile juveniles.
