The quintet of AK graduates due to pass through Arqana’s Saint Cloud ring feature some of the stud’s leading bloodlines. Most are lightly or unraced, with the exception of Teshali (Anabaa) who recently increased his winning tally to three with a victory at Saint Cloud. Teshali (lot 65) is out of Group 3 placed Tashiriya and is a half-brother to Group 1 third Tashkandi and dual Group 3 winner Tashelka.

Three-year-old colts Shemannkar (Falbrav – lot 64) and Vadnagar (Anabaa – lot 66) have both been placed in two and one outings respectively. The former is a grandson of Prix de Diane victrix Shemaka, and his Listed winning dam has produced two winners including Listed runner-up Shendaya. Vadnagar comes from a top Jean-Luc Lagardère bloodline, being a half-brother to dual Group 1 winner and sire Valixir, and to the dam of Group 1 winner Vadawina. His Listed winning Linamix dam is a half-sister to the late National Stud sire Val Royal.

Juvenile Anantapour (Medicean – lot 19) is unraced to date and out of a winning half-sister to Astarabad and to the dam of Azamour and Arazan.

Highlight of the Irish consignment selling at Goffs is Listed winner Kargali (lot 135). Also placed third in the Gr.3 Gladness Stakes, this Invincible Spirit colt is from a family rich in black type. His dam Karliyka was runner-up in a pair of French Listed contests and she has produced seven winners including Group scorers Kastara and Kasthari, who is also placed in Pattern company over jumps.

The draft also features two winning sons of Dalakhani, Shalambar (lot 140) and Shiyrman (lot 139). Shalambar recently finished fifth in a big handicap at Naas. He is half brother to Group 1 performer Shalapour. Lot 109 Dalkan is a winning two-year-old by Sinndar out of a half-sister to Daliapour.
