The Aga Khan Studs will present a quality consignment of 29 fillies and broodmares at Arqana’s forthcoming Breeding Stock Sale. The draft features a host of blue-blooded individuals, including half-sisters to Group 1 winners Zarkava, Clodovil, Darjina and Darsi, a daughter of Group 1 winner Sagawara and also fillies and mares out of half-sisters to champions such as Siyouni, Shareta, Sendawar and Sarafina.

Lot 67 Zerkeriya represents an opportunity for breeders to purchase into one of the Aga Khan Studs’ most illustrious families, as the winning daughter of Soviet Star is a half-sister to unbeaten Arc heroine Zarkava who has enjoyed success at the highest level in the paddocks as dam of Zarak and Zarkamiya. Zerkeriya has produced three winners to date and she is sold in foal to first-season sire Ulysses.

Winning mare Radiyya (lot 26) is by the late Sinndar, who is renowned for his talents as a broodmare sire. This half-sister to Rajsaman and to the dam of Rosanara has given birth to two winners including black-type performer Rashkani. Another proven broodmare is lot 176 Kasatana (Hernando), dam of Group 2 scorer and Prix du Jockey Club fourth Kesampour. From the family of Kahyasi, Kasatana is a half-sister to the dam of Group 1 winner Kastoria. Dual winner and Listed runner-up Kozideh (lot 186, Gold Away) is a half-sister to two Stakes performers, from the maternal line of High Chaparral. The young broodmare has been covered by Golden Horn.

Placed three-year-old Shomaria (lot 38, Exceed And Excel) represents the prolific family of Prix de Diane winner Shemaka, and Canndiya (lot 91, Sinndar), also placed this season, is a half-sister to three Stakes winners and notably three-time Group scorer Candarliya (Dalakhani).

The Aga Khan Studs will also present lot 5 Talisa on behalf of Brookdale Farm. This Pour Moi half-sister to Group 1 winner Fidelité is out of a half-sister to Irish Derby hero Winged Love and she is expecting her first offspring by young sire Shalaa.
