David Nagle's seven-figure bid secured the dam of Daliapour, currently in foal to Alhaarth, for whom a Sadler's Wells cover may be next. At €1 million, Dalara became the highest priced broodmare to be sold at Irish auction in the last two decades.

Also on Saturday, Crispin de Moubray went to €320,000 to secure Darabela, the second highest lot of the sale, while Hannda was knocked down to McKeever St.Lawrence at €275,000, making the filly the third highest lot.
