Broodmares from the Aga Khan Studs were highly sought after at the recent Goffs Breeding Stock Sale, and purchasers will have a second chance to invest in some Classic origins at Arqana’s December sale where 43 females will be presented.

The highlight of the fillies out of training is Dariena (lot 435), a winning Highest Honor half-sister to triple Group 1 scorer Darjina. Other blue-blooded fillies on offer include lot 14 Maridiyna, a Sinndar half-sister to the dam of Mandesha and to dual American Grade 1 winner Manndar,

Lot 77 Saga Bella is a daughter of Sadler’s Wells and a full sister to Arc winner Sagamix and Stakes winner Sage et Jolie. Lot 189 Dee Flawless is a winning full sister to Group scorers Diamond Mix and Diasilixa. Lot 121 Honorlina is a winning full sister to Poule d’Essai des Poulains and Prix Jacques le Marois winner Vahorimix, from the family of Val Royal and Valixir. Dual winner Shadiyna (338) is out of Irish Oaks second Shamadara and is a half-sister to Group 1 winner Shamdala and to the dam of Secretariat Stakes scorer Shamdinan, while Group placed Alpine Rose (456) is a full sister to Gr.1 Grand Prix de Saint Cloud winner Fragrant Mix, Group 3 winner Fracassant and Listed winners Fascinating Mix and Farfala, the latter being the dam of Group 2 runner up Under the Rainbow.

The broodmare consignment features further top-class pedigrees and success on the racecourse and in the breeding shed, such as: lot 362, Celebre Vadala, a Stakes winning half-sister to dual Group 1 winner and sire Valixir and to the dam of Vadawina (Group 1), Vadapolina (Group 3) and Vadsalina (LR). Group 3 victrix Miliana (Lot 266) has already produced one winner and is in foal to Classic sire Dalakhani. Lot 269 Massatixa is the full sister to Group 1 winner Miss Satamixa and the dam of a black-type winner.

Winning mare Shemriyna (340) is out of a Listed-winning half-sister to Shemima and Shemala. Her second dam is Prix de Diane heroine Shemaka. Lot 341 Shezerma is by renowned broodmare sire Kahyasi and out of a full sister to Shergar. She has already given birth to one winner and is in foal to Sinndar. A half-sister to Gr.1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches scorer Zalaiyka, Zankarais (383), is the winner of one race and dam of two winners to date. She is expecting a foal from the first crop of Stormy River. Lot 408 Bayria is expecting her second foal by Bachelor Duke. She is out of Group 3 winner Bayrika and is a half-sister to the dam of 2000 Guineas second Vital Equine. Her second dam is Arc runner up Behera. American bred lot 437 Climate Control is the winner of one race. She is out of a half-sister to Zafonic and Zamindar and is in foal to Sinndar. Lot 605 Super View is out of Gr.1 Yellow Ribbon Invitational victrix Super Staff.
