In Germany, the BBAG yearling catalogue offers three colts by the consistent sire of Stakes winners Kahyasi.
They include lot 5 out of a Listed winning Machiavellian mare from the family of Laveron, and lot 246, a half-brother to the Group 3 winner Tareno. Lot 78 is a Linamix colt out of an Acatenango winning dam whose first three progeny have all gone on to win.
A total of eight Aga Khan sired yearlings will be sold at the SGA sale in Milan (23rd-24th September). There are four Daylami yearlings on offer, including a colt out of Sopran Dansert whose dam won the Italian 1000 Guineas (lot 18), a colt out of multiple Stakes winner De Puntillas (lot 52), and a filly out of Magdala, whose granddam Delsy produced the great Darshaan and Daliapour's dam, Dalara (lot 82).
Successful first season sire Kalanisi has one filly in the sale, a first foal out of the half-sister to Italian Oaks winner Timi (lot 155).
Classic sire Sinndar has one colt, a half brother to Listed winner Persian Majesty (lot 20), and two fillies, one out of the Listed winning Barathea mare Far Hope (lot 228), the other a grandaughter of Group winner Sharaniya (lot 290) catalogued.
2025 has been another successful year for the connections of mares bred and sold by the Aga Khan Studs. No fewer than four Group 1 winners have flown the flag worldwide – including two high-profile juveniles.
