Goffs

The Aga Khan Studs are represented by eight individuals in the Goffs Mixed Sale on 6th February, and by two breeding prospects at Arqana’s Mixed Sale to be held on 12th and 13th February.

In Ireland, the consignment features a single colt, the once-raced three-year-old Alanari (lot 322), by Canford Cliffs, from the family of Alamshar. His Listed-winning dam Alaiyma is a half-sister to Gr.1 EP Taylor Stakes runner-up Alasha.

The seven fillies out of training include both unraced and winning or placed three and four-year-olds, hailing from leading Aga Khan Studs maternal lines. Attractions include Shareva (Rip Van Winkle, lot 343), out of Group 3 winner Shareen and half-sister to Group scorers Shamreen and Shahroze.

Lot 351 Taranata is a daughter of Zoffany and the Listed winner Tarakala, dam of three-time Listed winner Tarana, while Rayda (Mastercraftsman, lot 473) is a half-sister to Group 2 winner Raydara, out of Listed winner Raydiya.

Arqana

Lots 435 and 436 Kalaya (Thewayyouare) and Kalinda (Born To Sea) both represent the illustrious maternal line of Kalanisi. The former is out of a half-sister to dual Group winner Luminate, and the latter is out of the multiple Stakes placed Kalidaha.

In France, the Aga Khan Studs present an unraced filly whose pedigree features the exceptional Zarkava. Zidaniya (Motivator) is a granddaughter of Prix de Diane heroine Zainta, and out of a half-sister to National Hunt champions Zaidpour and Zaynar.

The second representative of the Aga Khan Studs at the Arqana sale is Cherana (Sinndar), who is out of a full sister to triple Group 1 winner Cherry Mix, and has already produced one winner.
