Website updated with Aga Khan horses due to be presented at the Arqana Saint Cloud April Horses in Training sale.
The Arqana mixed draft of two fillies, three colts and one gelding includes Tabayin, a winning two-year-old and placed twice on his only two starts this season; Armaramak, a half-brother to Group 3 winner Artistique; Fairlypi, a half brother to Group 2 winner and Group 1 placed Fairly Ransom and Sharaliya, a half-sister to Group 3 winner Sharbayan and Listed Prix Finot winner Sharbasia.
The Aga Khan Studs continue to present high quality drafts at the public sales. This year’s Cheltenham Festival saw Aga Khan homebreds feature prominently including Ebaziyan, a three-length winner of the Gr.1 Supreme Novices’ Hurdle and 5yo Afsoun (by Kahyasi) who finished third in the Champion Hurdle. In France, we sold both champion hurdler ZAIYAD (Group 1 winner and recent Group 3 winner by eight lengths) and Listed Prix Finot 2006 winner Sharbasia at the Arqana Saint-Cloud sales.
2025 has been another successful year for the connections of mares bred and sold by the Aga Khan Studs. No fewer than four Group 1 winners have flown the flag worldwide – including two high-profile juveniles.
